Jayne Houdyshell is an actress, best known for her roles in The Good Fight (2017), Everybody's Fine (2009) and Garden State (2004).
Biography[]
Raised in Topeka, Kansas, she is the youngest of four daughters born to Galen "Buzz" Houdyshell and Louella Taylor. She graduated from Topeka High School in 1971, and she went on to graduate with honors from the Academy of Dramatic Art at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan in 1974.
Houdyshell's television credits include appearances on Law & Order, Third Watch, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and Law & Order: Criminal Intent. In addition, she has appeared in films such as Changing Lanes (2002), Garden State (2004), Trust the Man (2006), Everybody's Fine and The Bounty Hunter (2010).
In 2018, Houdyshell was cast in the recurring role of The Widow on the ABC thriller series Quantico.
